The Ratcliffe Cross Street project consists of the design of two separate residential blocks on a tight urban site immediately adjacent to a busy mainline railway viaduct. The two blocks provide 77 residential units, 23 of which for affordable rent, 11 for shared ownership and 43 for private sale.
As BIM consultants, we assisted the studio Stephen Bradbury Architects that was appointed for the design of the project and we developed a LOD 300 BIM model, which was instrumental for the production of the Stage 3 and 4 documentation.
A bespoke parametric family was created to mimic the wire mesh applied to the South facades of the buildings.
