PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Situated on the top floor of a luxury residential building near Battersea Park, this flat was transformed to maximize its compact layout. The project takes full advantage of the flat’s compact scale to establish a strong sense of continuity and flow between rooms, making the entire space feel larger and more cohesive.

The custom wall unit in the living room extends into the hallway and master bedroom, incorporating functional elements along the way. It seamlessly includes the door to the children's bedroom and integrates built-in furniture in the walk-in wardrobe, creating an uninterrupted visual link. Clean, modern lines and cohesive materials highlight the wall unit as a central feature that connects the spaces in a harmonious yet impactful way.

Originally, the flat had different types of flooring in each room, which fragmented the space and made it feel smaller. To address this, the existing floors were replaced with large-format stone tiles, creating a consistent, elegant surface that flows from room to room. This choice not only enhances the visual openness of the flat but also brings a sense of sophistication and cohesion.

The furniture design is intentionally minimalistic, allowing the strength of the geometric forms and the precision of the joints to shine through as focal points. These clean lines and intersections serve as the primary decorative details, creating an understated elegance that complements the open, connected layout. The result is a modern, refined interior where every element contributes to a sense of harmony and spaciousness.
