Project description
Set within a white stucco terrace on Westbourne Terrace, this 75 m² apartment has been redesigned to make the most of a compact footprint. The layout is organised as a single, light-filled living, dining and kitchen space, with storage and services concentrated along the walls to keep the centre of the plan free.
Continuous oak floorboards and white walls give the apartment a bright, neutral backdrop, while built-in wardrobes with flush doors disappear into the architecture. An arched mirror in the hallway reflects light deeper into the plan and frames the view towards the living area.
Colour and character are introduced through a few carefully chosen pieces: a soft blue sofa, a yellow sideboard and a cluster of conical pendant lights above the dining table. Each element is placed to define a zone within the open space without the need for partitions.
The result is a home that feels larger than its size suggests, simple to live in and easy to adapt over time.
